 Mr.
Hewat is one of Toronto’s highly regarded radio broadcasters.
Hewat started his broadcast career in 1959 when we joined
1430 CKFH as an on-air personality.
He worked with Foster and Bill Hewitt broadcasting Toronto
Maple Leaf Hockey. Commencing two years later, Hewat announced the play-by-play
hockey broadcasts for the next 16 years.
Mr. Hewat has broadcast every Canada Cup hockey series
since 1976. He also sold and networked Canada Cup and six Grey Cup broadcasts.
Some of his
accomplishments include:

Ceremonies for many Speaker Forum luncheons including most recently Dr. Henry Kissinger,
Harvard Professor John Kotter, George Stephanopoulos and John E. Cleghorn
