DR. KENNETH BLANCHARD

Blanchard is chairman of Blanchard Training
and Development, Inc., a full-service management consulting and training company which he
founded in 1979 with his wife. He also is a visiting lecturer at Cornell University,
where he is an elected member of the Board of Trustees.
He has been acknowledged for his outstanding
contributions to the world of management and development. In 1991, the National
Speakers Association awarded him the “Council of Peers Award of
Excellence.” The 1992 Golden Gavel award was given to Blanchard by Toastmasters
International. Also in 1992, he was inducted into the HRD Hall of Fame by TRAINING
magazine and Lakewood Conferences.
He has been a guest on a number of national
television programs, including Good Morning America and The Today Show, and
has been featured in Time, People, U.S. News & World Report and a host of other
popular publications. He is also a contributing editor of Quality Digest,
Personal Selling Power and Executive Newsletter.
He earned his B.A. in government and
philosophy from Cornell University, his M.A. in sociology and counselling from Colgate
University and his Ph.D. in educational administration and leadership from Cornell
University.
