Barrie Sanford Greiff, MD
is one of those rare motivational speakers who has been where the action is. He speaks
from experience as a Harvard Psychiatrist for the past four decades, a consultant to some
of the most powerful business institutions in the USA, a confidant to a number of talented
men and women, a husband to a working wife, a parent to three children, and a colleague
and friend to a number of people in different walks of life.
He decodes complicated thoughts and delivers them in a
practical, warm, clear manner touched with interesting insights and humor. He does not
approach issues with a "know it all attitude" and is uniquely able to form an
alliance with his audience. His teachings are grounded in the crucible of the real world.
People
believe and trust him and are caught up in his stories full of wisdom. He understands that
that "which comes from the heart goes to the heart." He was a pioneer in
developing the area dealing with the juggling of self, family and work life, taught at
Harvard Business School. He clearly understands the important things in life beyond
the bottom line. And believes that those who have a why to live can deal with
almost any how.
He offers fresh ways of dealing with change in a world that
has been driven by the farmers plow to the hand held palm pilot. And he is able to
synthesize different disciplines to create a meaningful tapestry. His views are optimistic
and he is guided by a number of principles that include: "a mind stretched never
returns to the same place" and "chance favors the mind prepared." He
has appeared on a number of National TV Shows (CBS, Good Morning America, CNN, Fox, PBS)
and has been on a number of major Radio programs. He has been featured in the New York
Times, U.S. News and World Report as well as other publications The WSJ has referred to
him as a pioneer in work/family dynamics." He is the author of 5 Books
